Going to change out the front axle fluid & thinking I'll just pick up some 80w-90 tomorow, but wondering if anybody had any opinions as they are both recommended by Kubota.

Grease is a semi-solid lubricant usually applied to plug holes in the front axle I just completed my 600 hour maintenance on the M7040 and went with the gear oil.
